Dr. Shawhney is also absolutely wonderful — so patient, kind, and attentive. You can tell both doctors genuinely care about their patients and providing the best possible care.
The entire office staff is amazing as well. Everyone is friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. It is rare to find a medical office where every single person is so compassionate and helpful. I highly recommend Lotus Dermatology to anyone looking for outstanding care and an incredible team.

y enough wonderful things about Lotus Dermatology. Dr. Utpal Patel is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I have ever met. He truly takes the time to listen, explain everything thoroughly, and make you feel comfortable and valued as a patient.

I live here in Citrus, but still visit my dermatologist in MD. In December, she removed a suspicious mole, and then she called me in January stating that it needed to go. I made an appointment with Dr Konda for a consult. He was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The whole staff was great. As luck would have it that morning, he asked if I wanted to wait a little, he could remove the affected area that same day. I waited, he took care of it promptly, pathology came back that he got it all, and I couldn't be happier. I'll still be seeing my MD doc, but Dr Konda is my FL dermatologist now.

Thank you for being so compassionate and understanding. I was there to have a cyst removed in the side of my face. It had been removed twice before by a dermatologist in Clearwater. The last time in Clearwater they hurt me so badly that I hyper ventilated and past out.
To say the least I was scared. You guys were amazing. Thank you so very much for you expertise and understanding ❤️

I have been a patient of Dr Patel for serveral serveral years. H always does thorough exam. He did fine on issue on my nose that required surgery, he did N excellent job, and it healed-up perfectly. He has a great staff best

One of most compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly doctors I have seen and at 80yrs old there have been many! He really takes time patient needs to understand disease and treatment. The office staff keeps things going like a well oiled machine, so efficient!
