Marissa Wright, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Marissa Wright MSN, APRN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in general and procedural dermatology services for adult and pediatric patients. She began her dermatology career as a medical assistant for Dr. Utpal Patel here at Lotus Dermatology, where she spent six years gaining valuable experience in dermatologic care and developing a strong passion for the specialty. She later expanded her clinical experience through a career in emergency and trauma nursing, where she developed strong assessment, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills. Her passion for learning ultimately led her to pursue advanced nursing education and transition into her current role as a dermatology nurse practitioner back where it all began.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Keiser University. Her clinical interests include general and procedural dermatology, acne management, and skin cancer surveillance. She is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care and believes in taking the time to listen to each patient's concerns and develop treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

Having progressed from medical assistant to registered nurse, and ultimately to family nurse practitioner, she brings a broad clinical perspective and a longstanding familiarity with the patients and community she serves. She strives to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in their care with treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
